Central Asia faces escalating climate vulnerability and transboundary water stress. To ensure that regional youth are not merely observers but active architects of environmental policy, we are officially opening applications for the Regional Conference of Children and Youth (RCOY) Central Asia 2026.
This conference is a strategic platform to consolidate regional perspectives and draft the Central Asian Regional Youth Statement (RYS), which will be carried forward to UNFCCC COP31 and the 2026 UN Water Conference

Theme: Central Asia Youth for Water Security and Climate Justice
Dates: September 4–6, 2026
Location: Samarkand, Uzbekistan
Format: Hybrid (In-person & Online Tracks)
Eligibility Requirements
We are looking for the region's most engaged young climate and water leaders. You must meet all the following criteria to apply:
Age & Citizenship: 16–30 years old, holding citizenship of 🇦🇫, 🇰🇿, 🇰🇬, 🇲🇳, 🇹🇯, 🇹🇲, or 🇺🇿.
Expertise: Demonstrated experience in climate action, water governance, environmental policy, or youth advocacy.
Language: Working proficiency in English.
Commitment: Mandatory full attendance for all three days.
Funding:
Highly competitive full-funding quotas (covering travel, accommodation, and meals) are available for selected in-person delegates. A self-funded participation track is also open for those with independent financial support.
